Intro
If you see higher education as the next step toward achieving your goals, POET’s Never Satisfied Scholarship exists to help you move forward. These awards are open to students attending any accredited two- or four-year postsecondary or technical institution in the United States and are available regardless of GPA. Typical eligible fields include Agriculture, Finance, Accounting, Communications, Engineering, Computer Science, Human Resources, and other related majors or minors.
Award overview
The POET Never Satisfied Scholarship Program will distribute up to $75,000 in total funding to students who refuse to settle for “good enough” and who share POET’s commitment to building a better future. Students enrolled at four-year colleges are eligible for $5,000 scholarships; students at technical or two-year institutions are eligible for $2,500 awards. In addition to financial support, selected scholars will gain hands-on networking and learning experiences with members of the POET team.
Who should apply (eligibility)
- Current students at accredited two- or four-year postsecondary or technical schools in the United States, including graduate students.
- High school seniors who are planning to enroll in a two- or four-year postsecondary institution the following fall are eligible.
- Majors or minors should be in Agriculture, Finance, Accounting, Communications, Engineering, Computer Science, Human Resources, or related fields.
- Applicants must be located in the United States at the time of application. International students studying in the U.S. may apply, but may be subject to tax withholding requirements.
- GPA is not a barrier—students at any academic standing may apply.
How to apply & what's required
Apply online using the “Apply Now” link on the POET website. The application includes three essay-style questions and an optional project submission. All submissions will be reviewed through an AI-detection process; applications that rely heavily on AI-generated content will be disqualified.
Timeline and selection process
- Application deadline: February 13, 2026.
- Initial review by POET staff takes place after the deadline. Finalists will be announced by Wednesday, March 27, 2026.
- Zoom interviews for the top candidates will be held during the weeks of Monday, March 30 – Friday, April 10, 2026.
- Scholarship recipients will be notified via email and announced on POET’s social channels on Friday, April 17, 2026.
