Overview The Morton B. Duggan, Jr. Memorial Education Recognition Award is presented to a student enrolled in an accredited respiratory care education program. Applicants from any U.S. state are welcome, but preference will be given to candidates who reside in Georgia or South Carolina. The American Respiratory Care Foundation (ARCF) may grant up to $1,000 in memory of Morton B. Introduction The American Respiratory Care Foundation offers an award of up to $1,000 in memory of Jimmy A. Young, former AARC president, who was a major supporter of respiratory care education. While the Foundation prefers that a school official or an accredited respiratory training program submit nominations, individual students may also initiate an application so that qualified candidates are not excluded if their program does not submit on their behalf.
