Traub-Dicker Rainbow Scholarship
Scholarship Sponsored by Stonewall Community Foundation
The Traub-Dicker Rainbow Scholarship was established by Peggy Traub and Phyllis Dicker to encourage and support lesbians in their pursuit of higher education. This program provides one-year scholarships of $4,000 to several students graduating high school or already enrolled in college in any year of study, including graduate school. Scholarships are paid directly to the recipient’s school and are applied toward tuition.
The application consists of 3 short essay questions, a letter of recommendation, and transcripts from your latest academic institution. There is no minimum GPA requirement. Submissions are judged on academic achievement, community service and leadership, and commitment to impacting LGBTQ+ issues.
To be eligible, applicants must:
- Identify as a lesbian
- Plan to attend a college or university in the United States (including graduate school) in Fall 2024
The 2025 Traub-Dicker Rainbow Scholarship application will be available in Spring 2025.
