Campaign Focus
Distracted driving causes thousands of fatal crashes annually and contributes to over 58% of teen vehicle accidents. Your billboard should call attention to this problem and present a clear message about preventing distractions while driving. Creativity is encouraged, but designs must be suitable and feasible for use as a billboard campaign in Ohio.
Permissions and Use
By submitting your design, you grant KNR permission to use the ad for promotional purposes on KNR’s website and social media. KNR may edit entries for length or format but will not change the fundamental message.
Judging Criteria
A review panel will evaluate submissions and choose the winner based on originality, creativity, and effectiveness in delivering the distracted-driving prevention message.
Award Payment and Compliance
The $5,000 scholarship must be applied toward tuition and other education-related costs. Payment will be issued by check directly to the recipient’s educational institution. Recipients are responsible for submitting receipts as required to comply with IRS rules.
