A boost for your college journey Submit a single online application and you'll be considered for hundreds of scholarship awards for undergraduate and graduate study. Most awards are reserved for students who live in West Michigan and/or are enrolled at a Michigan college or university. If you have questions while applying, please contact our team. The General Scholarship application is available from December 1 through March 1 each year. Who is eligible - Students pursuing college or graduate degrees. - Priority is given to applicants from West Michigan and/or those attending school in Michigan. (If you’re unsure about eligibility, reach out to our staff for clarification.) How to apply — simple, three-step process 1) Collect required materials - Complete the FAFSA or use the FAFSA Student Aid Estimator to provide your financial information. - Obtain your most recent transcript or grade report. - Draft a personal statement that reflects your goals and background. 2) Create your GoApply account - Register in GoApply using an email address you check regularly and will retain access to for at least the next year. 3) Submit one application - Complete and submit the General Scholarship application between December 1 and March 1. With a single submission, we'll match you to any Community Foundation scholarships for which you qualify — contributing to more than $1 million in awards each cycle. Need help?
